At morning, your visit will explore to the colonial town Thanlyin (Syriam), the Burmese largest seaport (17 km far from Yangon downtown area and around 1 hour drive). Visit to the “local market in Thanlyin” where you can see the various kinds of local food stroll and local people ways of life.
Then continue to “Aung Thar Si Village” where the organic farm and cooking class await you. You will know how to grow some kind of vegetables and herbs in own garden and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. You can pluck the fresh vegetables and you will enjoy Myanmar traditional food cooking class. Chef will teach you how to cook Myanmar local foods and then enjoy your cuisine.
After lunch, the visit start with “Kyauk Tan (Ye Le Pagoda)” located on a small island in Hmaw Wun Creek, a tributary of Yangon River built by King Zeyasana. And visit to “Kyaik Kauk Pagoda”, an impressing golden stupa similar to Shwe Dagon Pagoda and then continue to an ancient Portuguese Church (AD 1749-1750) (also called Nga Zinga Church).
Back to Yangon and transfer to you hotel.
