Itinerary Detail

Day 1

yangon-09Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Sightseeing in Yangon will be arranged according to your arrival time.

A short orientation tour starts with a visit to SULE Pagoda dating back to 5 century BC and a walk through the small streets in downtown (the ancient Yangon) Yangon to see the lives the Yangonites lead.

In the afternoon, a visit to an extraordinarily huge reclining Buddha statue (KYAUT HTUT GYI PAGODA) and to the glory of Yangon, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world's most magnificent religious monuments built during Lord Buddha era. Enjoy the very special moment at the pagoda.  Back to hotel and overnight in Yangon.


Day 2

mandalay-10Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Mandalay.

Upon arrival, transfer to Mandalay by your private car (about 1 hour drive). On the way to hotel, visit  one of the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar" MAHAMUNI PAGODA".

Afternoon sightseeing resumes with a visit to historical monuments; "GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY" (SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG); a traditional wooden building, and "KU THO DAW PAGODA", the world largest book made of marble, both were built by King Min Don in 19 century, and as a last destination of the day,  Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic view and sunset.

Back to hotel, overnight in Mandalay.


Day 3

amarapura-03After breakfast, you will be leaving for the whole day excursion to the ancient capitals in Mandalay region, the visits include Amarapura (the ancient royal capital, 11 km from Mandalay), visit "MAHAGANDAYON MONASTERY" where more than 1000 of monks live and study.

Then you will be transferred to the jetty of AVA (IN WA), a former royal capital where the horse-drawn carriages are waiting for the visits. Visits in Ava resumes the famous traditional wood curving and teak posts "BAGAYA MONASTER", "NAN MYINT WATCH TOWER" nicknamed leaning tower of Ava, and "MAHA AUNG MYAY BON SAN MONASTERY" (Mai Nu Okk Kyaung); built of brick and stucco.

Return to AMARAPURA to enjoy the sunset from 200- year- old teak bridge "U BEIN".

Back to the Hotel and over night in Mandalay.


Day 4

monywa-02After breakfast, your visit starts with a glance to a firsthand jade dealer market where you can see how jade trading is conducted in primary stage. Then, you will be transferred to Mayanchan jetty for half day excursion with a private boat to MINGUN (11km up stream). Upon arrival, walking along to visit the largest unfinished pagoda "PAHTOTAWGYI", the world largest ringing bell and a particular architecture style of "MYA THEIN TAN" Pagoda. Then, cruising down to Sagaing by boat. Your private car will be waiting at Sagaing jetty and visit to SAGAING HILL. Then continue to Monywa by car (Two and half hour).

Overnight in Monywa.


Day 5

monywa-03After breakfast, you will cross the Chindwin River by boat and proceed to "PHOWIN TAUNG" by Jeep or pick up (around 1 hour) to discover the 2588 Buddha in 492 caves troglodytes and magnificent mural painting dating back to 17 century. Then continue to "SHWE BA TAUNG" expressed as mini Petra, the complex of pavilions with Buddha images entirely sculpture in Sand stone rock. After visit, return back to Monywa and take a rest at hotel.

In the afternoon, visit MOHNYIN THAMBUDDHAY PHAYA, Buddhist temple decorated with more than     582 000 Buddha images on different size. Then visit the BODDHI TAHTAUNG, the complex of Buddha images under Bodi trees and continue your visit to world biggest standing Buddha and one of the most biggest reclining Buddha. Return back to hotel and over night in Monywa.


Day 6
Monywa - Pakoku - Bagan

bagan-14After breakfast, transfer to Pakokku by car (around 4 hours), on the way, a brief stop by "Ma U" village to observe the ways of village life. Continue to Pkoukku, visit local wet market and visit cigar factory. Then, you will take a small private boat and cruising to Bagan for two and half hours on the AyeYar Waddy River. Arrive to Bagan jetty and transfer your Hotel. Overnight in Bagan.



Day 7

bagan-15After breakfast, visit to the colorful local market of Nyaung U to see a part of the daily life of people in upper Myanmar. Then sightseeing continues to the most significant temples and pagodas of Bagan which include early 11th century religious shrine "SHWE ZI GON PAGODA", one of the most magnificent architectural style "HTI LO MIN LO TEMPLE", then, "MYIN KA BAR GU BYAUK GYI" Temple for exquisite mural painting of the early 12th century protected by UNESCO and "NAN PHAYA TEMPLE" to observe a rare temple dedicated for Brahman worship in Bagan dynasty.

Afternoon, a visit to the famous "ANANDA TEMPLE" which is well known for its most elaborated interior decoration in the early of 12 century. Then, explore the secret charm of Bagan by horse cart and proceed on a terrace of an ancient stupa or temple to enjoy a splendid sunset. Overnight in Bagan.


Day 8

poppa-01After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mont Popa by car (about 3 hours drive), Mont Popa is an extinct volcano which is 1518 meter high, and 50 km away from Bagan. On the way, you can make a stop to observe how to collect palm juice, very simple steps of making toddy-palm alcohol and Myanmar sweet. You can taste traditional Myanmar alcohol and natural palm juice.

Continue to Popa and make a quick visit to "Nats shrine" and then you will have time to climb 777 steps of "Taung Ka Lat" Popa.

And, you will be transferred to Popa Mountain Resort from where you will have the magnificent view of Popa Taung kalat and Popa region. Then, according to your time, you can visit "POPALIN" village and continue to Bagan(about 1 and half hour drive).

Then, arrival to Bagan and relax at the hotel. Overnight in Bagan.


Day 9

inle-09After breakfast, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, transfer to Inle (about 1 hours drive), arrive to hotel.

In the afternoon, an excursion by boat to see the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, village life, local method of fishing, etc. Then visit to the famous "PHAUNG DAW OO PAGODA", "NGA PHE CHAUNG" monastery considered as museum of Buddha images and visit Kay Lar Village for the unique life style of Inthas different from the other parts of Myanmar, then return back to Hotel. Overnight in Inle lake.


Day 10
Inle-Inn Dein-Red Mountain-Inle

inle-05After breakfast, sightseeing starts with a visit  to one of  the 5 days markets in Inle lake region (on market days only), then continue to the Western Shore of Inle lake by boat, leading to the INN DEIN Pagoda complex consisting hundreds of pagodas overgrown by moss and greens. Return back to Inle Lake.

After lunch, visit to Red Mountain vineyard by bike or car and have a relax moment by tasting Myanmar Wine, then transfer to hotel. Before sunset, rowing canoe near your hotel and enjoy unforgettable sunset moment.
Return back to hotel and overnight in Inle lake.


Day 11
Inle-Yangon-Golden Rock

inle-10After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport and flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, depart from Yangon to the direction of golden rock (about 4-hours drive), then  arrive to the main camp of Golden rock where you are going to leave your private car and take a pick-up (the public means of transport) to reach the mid-camp, Yathaee Thaung.

From there, you can enjoy a climb to the golden rock about one hour or you can get direct to the top by  pick-up car. Check-in to your hotel and visit "GOLDEN ROCK (KYEIK HTI YO PAGODA)"; one of the most particular religious place for the pilgrimage. Enjoy the magic panoramic view and sunset from the top.

Overnight in Golden Rock.


Day 12
Golden Rock-Bago-Yangon

kyaikhtiyoe-02After breakfast, descend to the base camp Yathee Taung by foot and take a "pick- up" to reach back to your private car. Then, drive back to Yangon.

On the way, you will have time to visit a small typical village, then stop by at the ancient capital Bago, visit the famous SHWE MAW DAW PAGODA and reclining Buddha (SHWE THA LYAUNG), then continue to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Yangon.


Day 13
Yangon-International Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing in Yangon can be arranged according to your departure time.

The interesting places to visits are-

Walking at the small street of old Yangon;
Colonial Buildings around Pansodan Township;
Strand Hotel;
Indian wet market;
China Town;
Kandawgyi public park;
Bogyoke Market;
Botahtaung Pagoda;
National Museum;
Gems Museum;

You will be transferred to Yangon international airport for international departure.
